In order to protect the personal information and respect the privacy of all people related to Hanshin Engineering Co., Ltd. (hereinafter "the Company") including its customers, the Company’s officers and all its employees recognize the importance of protecting personal information and implement the following initiatives based on the idea that it is a social responsibility.
1. Obtaining Personal Information
When the Company obtains personal information, it will clarify the purpose of use and then obtain such personal information only within the scope necessary to achieve the intended purpose of use. The Company will also only obtain personal information in a legal and fair manner.

Unless permitted by law, the Company will not provide or disclose personal information to third parties without prior consent. However, based on laws and regulations, personal information may be provided in response to requests from public institutions.
5. Modifying or Requesting Access to Personal Information
When the Company receives any request to access or modify personal information, it will respond appropriately in accordance with laws and regulations. However, the Company reserves the right to specify any documents that need to be submitted and the method for verifying identity when making such a request.
6. Compliance with Laws and Regulations
The Company will comply with all laws and regulations related to the protection of personal information, and will make every effort with regard to the above items. The Company will also continuously review how it handles personal information and will make every effort to improve its handling of such personal information.
Note: Branch offices and affiliated companies overseas will also appropriately obtain, use, and handle personal information in accordance with the laws and regulations of the relevant country.
