Saves on Maintenance and Reduces Costs
There has been a need in recent years to reduce construction costs for flood control and irrigation-related facilities.
By incorporating planetary reduction gear in the winding drum (geared drum) of the opening/closing equipment, the switchgear can be made lighter and more compact, significantly helping to keep construction costs down.

The input shaft is integrated with the sun gear, and is connected to the winding drum from the planetary frame with the planetary gear shaft fixed via the planetary gear to provide torque.
The sun gear and internal gears are designed to move freely in order to distribute the load equally between the sun gear and the planetary gear, and between the planetary gear and the internal gears. Maintenance costs can be reduced by ensuring that the oil is managed properly inside the drum with a completely sealed oil bath system.
